Sailing Instructions - Amendment 1

An amendment to the Sailing Instructions has been posted for Racing on Sunday, 7/21, impacting the Windward/Leeward courses on the Yellow Line.

The Starting and Finishing Line are closed unless you are starting or finishing.

BHYC Regatta and Shipyard Cup Classics Challenge – Social Event Tickets

The 50th running of the BHYC Regatta and Shipyard Cup Classics Challenge social event tickets are selling fast and we want to remind you to book your tickets for the Saturday evening event right away. This is an extremely popular event held at Bristol Marine in downtown Boothbay Harbor. Go to, click on Social Events, then click on Saturday Event and book your tickets. Ticket supplies are limited and we will create a waiting list if over subscribed. Each registered boat receives two tickets included in the registration fee, with additional tickets available for $55.

Tickets for the Skippers Dinner Friday evening at BHYC are available for sale at the regatta website. Tickets are $50, limit of two per boat. Ronnie Simpson will be our featured speaker. Ronnie was a participant in the recent Global Solo challenge in his Open 50 sponsored by Shipyard Brewing (a key sponsor of the BHYC Regatta). He will relate his experience including being dismasted and recovery off Argentina and his plans for the Vendee globe Race in 2028.

"Mine Oyster" will cater again this year presenting spectacular appetizers along with local oysters. Dark and Stormy’s along with favorite local beers. Book now as quantities are limited and cut-off date is rapidly approaching.
